Iridology

Iridology

Marcia Harewood has been in practice for over 20 years initially qualified as a Registered Osteopath & Naturopath. She subsequently undertook post-graduate training and in 2001, successfully graduated with Honours as a Master Herbalist and Iridologist.

During her time in practice, Marcia has gained extensive experience working with her many patients including *children, teenagers and adults suffering from many various symptoms and conditions. Marcia uses Iridology as a diagnostic tool to:-

  • Determine the cause and or origin of symptoms.
  • Levels and areas of inflammation, congestion and irritations.
  • The body’s genetic strengths and weaknesses
  • The level and efficiency of the body’s eliminative systems and organs.
  • Provides the patient information about their body works.

During a typical examination Marcia will examine the white of the eyes (Sclera), the circular black area in the centre of the eye (Pupils) and the colour part of the eye (Iris).

An Iridology consultation is beneficial if you suffer severe or chronic conditions, also very helpful as a preventative if you wish to improve and maintain good health.

Marcia undertakes 30 hours continued professional training annually by attending courses, workshops and conferences around the UK and abroad.

Marcia is registered with the Guild of Naturopathic Iridologists International – GNI, affiliated to the General Naturopathic Council Limited – GNC.

*The Iris develops during the foetal stage and is fully mature by the age of 6 years.
