Chiropody & Podiatry

Of all the things we take for granted in life top of the list must surely be our feet.Research has shown that 9 out of 10 people will have problems with their feet before they are 30, but only 1 in 10 will visit a Chiropodist / Podiatrist.

Our feet help us balance, and carry us 5 times around the Earth during a lifetime; in return, we rarely give them the attention they deserve, hiding them away in ill-fitting shoes and forgetting about them... until they rebel.

Along with our eyes and hands, your feet do most work then most part of your body, so it is little wonder that things sometimes go wrong, our feet are also the mirror of our health. Signs of diabetes, arthritis, circulatory and neurological diseases, often appear first in the feet.

Not all foot complaints are caused by corn and calluses. The human foot consists of 33 joints, 28 bones bound together by ligaments, supported by muscles and supplied with blood vessels and nerves. It is therefore subject to considerable strain and injury.

Foot health begins in childhood; your children's feet must carry them for a lifetime.
