Massage provides a deeper treatment for clients who
prefer stronger pressure as well as for sports people who
regularly incorporate massage into their training schedule.
There are three types of Sports massage.
Pre Event Massage:
An invigorating massage to improve warmth
& circulation, helping the athlete focus on the race/event.
Post Event Massage:
A firm but relaxing massage which aids
the healing process by flushing out lactic acid therefore
reducing muscle fatigue and promoting a faster recovery.
Maintenance Sports Massage:
Administered between events to
maintain flexibility and reduce risk of injury, regular treatments
have been shown to greatly improve recovery.
Her recent clients include post-natal mothers, dancers, marathon
runners, non professional athletes and corporate office workers
based in the City and West End.
Prior to this Gilly worked in the corporate sector for 20
years in Banking & Energy Trading before making a career
change and training as a massage therapist!
