Carmel has studied Lymph Drainage Therapy with both Lymphatic Drainage International Training College (Sydney/London) and Professor Leduc's Lymphoedema Management School (Brussels/London). Comprehensive training was gained in Leduc's general technique itself and the treatment and management of lymphoedema including Multilayer Compression Bandaging and the use of Compression Garments were the main focus of Carmel's training.

Carmel has a busy private practice specialising in post operative cases where lymph nodes have been removed or the lymphatic system is impaired as a result of surgery or radiotherapy. Incorporating multilayer bandaging and compression garments in cases of lymphoedema, where necessary.

In addition Carmel treats all forms of conditions requiring Medical Lymph Drainage, including immune system deficiencies, pre and post cosmetic surgery.

In addition to her Medical Lymph Drainage qualifications, Carmel is a qualified Aromatherapist and Reflexologist. Carmel is also fully qualified in Beauty, Holistic and Massage therapy.
